Job summary

DataCamp is seeking a Learning Solutions Architect to deliver live training (virtual and onsite) and craft tailored learning materials on the DataCamp platform. You will partner across teams to scope blended learning paths and publish reusable content that accelerates adoption for high-value customers.

The role requires data engineering experience with Snowflake/Databricks, 2+ years in similar instructor roles, and a flexible schedule with travel for onsite delivery.

• 2+ years in technical training, data science/analytics education, solutions engineering, or similar instructor roles.
• Learns new tools quickly; enjoys tailoring content to different personas (analyst, engineer, business user, exec).
• Strong communicator who can simplify complex topics for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented and process-driven; delivers sessions and materials with substance.
• Flexible schedule to support time zones and occasional travel for onsite delivery.

Responsibilities

• Scope blended learning paths with Customer Success, Sales, Product and Content to map to customer roles and outcomes.
• Teach high-impact sessions and publish reusable, high-quality content to accelerate adoption and measurable skill uplift.
• Publish content that maps to each customer’s tools and outcomes.
• Support time zones and occasional travel for onsite delivery.

About the role + Responsibilities

The Learning Solutions Architect is a customer-facing technical trainer who helps organizations build data and AI capabilities with DataCamp. You’ll deliver engaging live training (virtual and onsite) and create tailored learning materials on the DataCamp platform—think custom courses, projects, certifications and assessments that map to each customer’s roles, tools, and outcomes.

You’ll partner with Customer Success, Sales, Product and Content to scope blended learning paths, teach high-impact sessions, and publish reusable, high-quality content that accelerates adoption and measurable skill uplift for some of our most high-value customers.

Qualifications

• Loves to teach. Comfortable spending multiple hours weekly in front of a virtual or onsite classroom.
• Broad Data Engineering experience with Snowflake/Databricks expertise.
• 2+ years in technical training, data science/analytics education, solutions engineering, or similar instructor roles.
• Learns new tools quickly; enjoys tailoring content to different personas (analyst, engineer, business user, exec).
• Strong communicator who can simplify complex topics for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented and process-driven; delivers sessions and materials with substance.
• Flexible schedule to support time zones (this is not a 9 to 5); occasional travel for onsite delivery.

Some of your key metrics will be:

• Customer satisfaction: survey, engagement, repeat bookings
• Professional services revenue (with a success based component of your salary tied to this)

Compensation

The base salary for this position may vary based on several factors, including the approved job level. The base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $190,000 (Total OTE: $145,000 - $220,000) Salary is one component of our total compensation package. This position also qualifies for equity (i.e., stock options). The benefits available for this position include flexible time off, a 401K retirement plan + matching, insurance (medical, dental, vision, life). We also provide paid sick time as required by state and local law. Additional benefits and perks contained in our standard employee benefits package are also offered for this position.
