What We’re Looking For

Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Learning Quality & Innovation Coordinator to join our team! The Learning Quality & Innovation Coordinator works cross-functionally and collaboratively across all Trillium Departments, supporting the Training Development Unit’s initiatives and projects. This position provides enterprise-wide support across instructional experiences and impact focus areas to ensure learning programs are consistent, high-quality, and continuously improved. The role is responsible for developing and applying training evaluation frameworks, leading quality assurance processes, identifying and managing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), curating knowledge repositories, piloting innovative instructional technologies, and building partnerships with external SMEs and organizations across Trillium’s catchment area to enhance content development.

On a typical day, you might:

  • Develop and implement evaluation frameworks to measure training effectiveness, knowledge transfer, and workplace application.
  • Conduct quality reviews of training content, facilitation, and learner outcomes to ensure standards and priorities are met.
  • Translate dashboards and metrics into actionable recommendations in partnership with data analysts.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage SMEs, maintaining strong internal and external partnerships to support content development.
  • Provide orientation, guidance, and ongoing support to SMEs to ensure content accuracy and alignment with learning goals.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School diploma/GED and six (6) years of experience in training, instructional design, education, organizational development, evaluation, quality assurance, knowledge management, or SME engagement; OR
  • Associate’s degree and four (4) years of experience in training, instructional design, education, organizational development, evaluation, quality assurance, knowledge management, or SME engagement; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience in training, instructional design, education, organizational development, evaluation, quality assurance, knowledge management, or SME engagement; OR
  • Equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must reside within Trillium’s catchment area, which includes the following North Carolina counties: Anson, Bertie, Beaufort, Bladen, Brunswick, Camden, Chowan, Carteret, Columbus, Craven, Currituck, Dare, Duplin, Edgecombe, Gates, Greene, Guilford, Halifax, Hertford, Hoke, Hyde, Jones, Lee, Lenoir, Martin, Montgomery, Moore, Nash, New Hanover, Northampton, Onslow, Pamlico, Pasquotank, Pender, Perquimans, Pitt, Randolph, Richmond, Robeson, Sampson, Scotland, Tyrrell, Warren, Washington, Wayne, Wilson.
  • Must be able to travel within catchment as required.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Organizational Development, Human Resource Development, Adult Learning, and Instructional Design
  • Experience in external partnership development or piloting instructional technologies
  • Association for Talent Development (ATD) certifications (APTD, CPTD)
  • Kirkpatrick Evaluation Certification
  • Knowledge Management or Learning Technology credentials
