Job summary

Gilbert Unified School District is seeking a Paraprofessional Assistant for the Learning Lab at Greenfield Junior High. The position supports certificated staff in supervising and instructing regular and special needs students, with a focus on implementing IEP goals and providing clerical support.

The role requires a Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card and offers an hourly wage of $16.31+ based on experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree; AA degree; or 60 college credits.
• Evidence of passing the Para Pro Assessment Test.

Responsibilities

• Adapts classroom activities under teacher direction to include all special education students.
• Confers with teachers to evaluate progress and implement IEP objectives.
• Implements academic instruction for individuals or small groups to meet learning goals.
• Implements behavioral plans designed by IEP for students with needs.
• Instructs students in math, reading, science, and other areas to remediate deficiencies.
• Maintains instructional materials and student records; manages materials and attendance.
