Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is seeking an Instructor to provide instructional assistance in mathematics and related fields. The role includes tutoring students both individually and in small group settings, as well as developing teaching materials for online platforms.
The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s Degree in Mathematics or a related field, possess teaching experience, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. This position offers a flexible schedule with assignments that may include evening and weekend hours.
Classification: Instructor
(M1) A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Mathematics or closely related field with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics from an accredited institution of higher learning.
(M2) Teaching and/or tutoring experience in Mathematics.
(M3) Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
(D1) College-level teaching experience in mathematics.
(D2) Experience with online educational platforms such as Canvas.
