Qualifications

• Must have Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in Child Study field is preferred.
• NJ State Certifications required.
• Experience treating young adult populations preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks prior to starting.
• Familiar with Administrative Codes, Rules and Regulations in school settings.
• Experience with time management, deadlines, diverse school settings.
• Familiar with evaluations, therapy, and case management.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' learning characteristics.
• Work with the multidisciplinary team to develop interventions.
• Consult with teachers to tailor instruction and supports.
• Determine eligibility for special services based on assessments.
• Provide research-based strategies to improve student outcomes.
• Analyze data and develop evidence-based interventions.
• Maintain knowledge of privacy and confidentiality guidelines.
