Job summary

State Employees Credit Union (NM) is seeking a Learning & Development Instructor (Level I or II) to join our on-site team in Santa Fe. You will deliver structured trainings, facilitate sessions, and support program design under the L&D Manager.

This role offers two levels based on experience and may involve end-to-end project ownership at Level II. The position requires strong facilitation, LMS experience, and familiarity with regulatory training requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to develop and/or deliver training across the lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of systematic training approaches (e.g., ADDIE or similar).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for varied audiences.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experienced with an LMS and creating/delivering virtual/eLearning content.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, professional learning environment aligned with State ECU standards.
• Deliver engaging trainings in group and 1:1 settings using effective facilitation.
• Support training needs assessments and learning strategies to improve performance.
• Partner with leaders and SMEs to identify skill gaps and develop learning solutions.
• Use in-person, virtual, and eLearning methods to maximize training impact.
• Manage priorities and deliver high-value training on time and within budget.
