We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Learning & Development (L&D) Project Manager to lead high-impact initiatives across design, development, and delivery. Reporting to the Program Director, this role requires a hands-on leader who can manage multiple L&D workstreams, guide teams through complex learning initiatives, and build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings deep L&D expertise, a servant leadership approach, and strong project management skills-especially using Monday.com.This individual will be responsible for ensuring alignment between business objectives and training outcomes, overseeing timelines and resources, and supporting instructional designers and developers through clear communication, and structure.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of L&D projects from initiation through delivery, aligning efforts with strategic goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Serve as the primary project manager for assigned learning initiatives, using Monday.com to track progress, risks, and deliverables.
- Support and guide instructional designers, developers, and SMEs to ensure high-quality training solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define learning needs, conduct needs analysis, and translate requirements into actionable plans.
- Act as a communication bridge between the Program Director, L&D team, and business stakeholders.
- Monitor project scope, timelines, and resource allocation, escalating risks or roadblocks proactively.
- Ensure instructional deliverables meet quality standards, learning objectives, and compliance requirements.
- Promote a servant leadership culture by enabling, coaching, and supporting the success of team members.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in L&D, including project management, instructional design, and learning strategy.
- Demonstrated success managing L&D teams and initiatives in complex or fast-paced environments.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and training delivery modalities.
- Experience in blended learning (eLearning, ILT, vILT) and performance-based learning solutions.
- Working knowledge of authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Rise) and LMS platforms.
- Background in corporate training, leadership development, or operational learning programs.
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently using Monday.com or similar tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
- Servant leadership style with a focus on team empowerment and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Consultant must be able to successfully pass a background check.
Start Date: ASAP.Duration: Through September 30th with likely extension.Hours: Expected to be 40 per week initially but may eventually fluctuate between 20-40 per week.Location: 100% VirtualThe pay range is $65 to $70 per hour W2.
