Position Overview

The Learning Partner is responsible for coordinating, delivering, and continuously improving training focused on veterinary hospital systems and processes. This role owns a defined portion of the center training curriculum and serves as the primary L&D point person for operational systems education.

The Learning Partner coordinates the end-to-end training experience for key operations roles, delivers select components of the program, and enables others to effectively deliver their portions of the training. This role works in close partnership with Operations, Regional Leaders, The Care Experience, and Instructional Design to ensure training content is accurate, current, practical, and behaviorally aligned.

This is an experienced individual contributor role requiring strong operational knowledge, facilitation capability, and the ability to translate real-world hospital systems into effective learning experiences.

  • Serve as a primary facilitator for select components of Operations training (live, in-person and virtual).
  • Partner with Regional Leaders, CST members and other facilitators who deliver portions of the program to ensure consistency and clarity.
  • Support and train mentors to reinforce systems and processes in the field.
Content Ownership & Development
  • Own and maintain a defined portion of the Operations curriculum, with authority to independently update materials as systems and processes change.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for hospital systems and processes within the L&D team.
  • Partner with Instructional Designers to:
    • Develop facilitator guides, participant materials, and job aids
    • Convert appropriate content into online learning modules
    • Ensure materials are practical, clear, and grounded in operational reality

Operational Partnership
  • Maintain close alignment with Operations to stay current on hospital systems, workflows, tools, and expectations.

  • Ensure training reflects how systems are actually used in hospitals—not just how they are designed.
Care Experience Integration
  • Embed The Care Experience behavioral skills into all operational training content.
  • Reinforce the connection between strong systems, effective leadership, and a consistent client and team experience.
Continuous Improvement
  • Gather feedback from participants, mentors, and Regional Leaders to refine content and delivery.
