Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking a Training Center Manager in South Boston, Virginia.

You will lead daily operations of the training center, overseeing facilities, resources, systems, schedules, budgets, and personnel to deliver impactful learning programs aligned with business growth. You will partner with factory leadership, Training Leaders, HR, Safety and Quality to drive alignment, forecast capability needs, and ensure an efficient learner experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as required in the job description.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in training operations or related environments.
• Proven experience leading teams, managing resources, budgets, schedules and operational processes.
• Strong project management, communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem solving skills.
• Experience using data to drive learning effectiveness and performance improvements.
• Preferred manufacturing or multi-site operations background and CI knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the South Boston Training Center.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to Training Center staff.
• Coordinate training activities with factory leadership to meet objectives.
• Manage training systems, reporting, records, and documentation for accuracy.
• Analyze training KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Operations, HR, Safety, Quality and other stakeholders.
• Drive workforce capability planning by forecasting training demand.
• Lead continuous improvement, curriculum reviews, and best practices.
