Qualifications

• Educational Technician III certification required.
• Knowledge of technology, library sciences and digital citizenship.
• Familiarity with iPads, Chromebooks, Windows and macOS.
• Ability to learn new tasks and adapt to emerging tech.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage student behavior.
• Paraprofessional experience preferred in library or computer lab.
• Ability to meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support students, staff and administration with media and technology equipment.
• Provide short-term instruction and supervision to students or classes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maximize use of media and tech.
• Supervise and schedule the Learning Commons.
• Maintain exposure to current literature, digital and print resources.
• Handle inventory, records and compliance tasks.
• Provide end-user technology training and Tier 1 troubleshooting.
• Assist with maintenance of software/hardware and other duties as assigned.
