About this opportunity: Ball State University’s Learning Center in University College invites applications for a Learning Center Tutoring Coordinator, a 10-month Professional position. The Learning Center Tutoring Coordinator is responsible for hiring, scheduling, training, mentoring, supervising, and assessing tutors and graduate assistants for appointment-based tutoring and drop-in tutoring. The Learning Center Tutoring Coordinator is responsible for the daily operations of the Learning Center Tutoring Desk and program assessment at the end of each semester and academic year. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
What you'll do and what you'll bring:
Position Function: The Learning Center Tutoring Coordinator manages the appointment-based tutoring program and satellite drop-in tutoring program in the Learning Center. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: recruit, hire, train, schedule, observe, mentor, supervise and evaluate approximately 100 undergraduate student tutors and graduate assistants; conduct the daily operation of a large tutoring program and provides assessment and campus outreach. 10-month Professional position.
