Job Description

This position is for the 2026-2027 school year and will start August, 2026.

SUMMARY

This position provides administrative support for Learning Center (LC) Director and works under the guidance and supervision of the Learning Center Director and secondary administration to provide Learning Center services for students involved in a program.

ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
PERSONAL BELIEF & BEHAVIOR
  • Must be a born‑again Christian whose lifestyle and character demonstrate obedience to God and the Holy Scriptures.
  • Must be able to serve as a positive Christian role model to others in the CCS school context.
  • Must be able to accept and support the school’s doctrinal statement.
  • Must have an understanding of and commitment to CCS’s educational objectives and philosophy of education.
  • Must possess sufficient biblical knowledge that enables the teacher to integrate Scripture into subjects taught, thus imparting to the students a biblical worldview position.
  • Must faithfully attend a local church whose fundamental beliefs are in agreement with the Statement of Faith of this school.
  • Must affirm that working in this Christian school as a teacher is consistent with what he/she believes is pleasing to God and represents a good stewardship of his/her time, talent, and professional abilities.
  • Must enjoy working with young people.
PROFESSIONAL
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Background in education and teaching credentials preferred
  • Background in working with students with educational difficulties preferred

GENERAL DUTIES
  • Closely proctor and facilitate assessments given in the Learning Center, assisting those who need specific accommodations such as reader, scribe, word bank, etc.
  • Coordinate with Learning Center Director regarding testing, student, and/or teacher needs
  • Monitor teacher lesson plans each week and plan for testing needs in the Learning Center
  • Oversee the management of Learning Center student entry and exit procedures
  • Maintain LC files for classroom accommodations and students’ schedules
  • Assist LC personnel with administration and proctoring of mid‑term and final exams
  • Maintain appropriate testing environment: collecting review materials before tests, affirming proper student behavior
  • Answer emails daily from parents and teachers
  • Clean and disinfectant desks and other furniture daily
