Qualifications

What You'll Do

Lead student programming:

• Review student performance and progress toward academic goals.
• Ensure each student’s program is aligned with their individual learning needs.
• Monitor student engagement and make instructional adjustments when needed.
• Work directly with students and provide tutoring support when needed.

Partner With Families

• Meet regularly with parents to discuss student progress, goals, and recommendations.
• Help families understand their child’s academic needs and the steps that can support continued growth.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with families based on trust and results.

Lead And Support Instructors

• Supervise and coach part-time instructors to help them succeed.
• Help teachers deliver high-quality instruction and maintain a positive learning environment.

Run The Learning Center

• Oversee daily center operations, including scheduling, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative responsibilities.
• Help maintain an organized, welcoming, and productive center environment.
• Take ownership of center performance and the student and family experience.

Build Community Relationships

• Develop relationships with local schools, teachers, and community organizations.
• Help increase awareness of Huntington’s programs and the results we achieve for our students.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 3+ years of experience in education, tutoring, customer service, management, or a related field.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A genuine desire to help students succeed.
• Confidence working with parents and discussing student needs and appropriate program recommendations.

Schedule

• Part-time - up to 35 hours per week.
• Flexible hours Monday-Thursday, between 12:00 - 8:00 p.m., Fridays 2-7 p.m., with occasional Saturday support between 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
