Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher required in a related field
• Experience in tutoring, learning centers, or student support preferred
• Ability to recruit/train/supervise staff and develop policies in line with district procedures
• Familiarity with equity-minded approaches and outcomes for diverse student populations
• Responsibilities align with CCC minimum qualifications and adjunct salary schedules

Responsibilities

• Provide long-range planning for District Tutor, Testing Center, and computer lab programs
• Develop procedures for training Student Tutors to ensure proper pedagogical practices
• Develop supervision and evaluation processes for tutors and staff
• Maintain budget oversight and track expenditures for Learning Center programs
• Support academic and student services to promote student success
