For additional information on remote work at Penn State, see Notice to Out of State Applicants.** **JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS**The Eberly College of Science, Department of Biology, is looking to hire Learning Assistants (LA) to provide support to Biology courses overseen by Teaching Faculty during the 2026-2027 academic year. These positions will be supervised by Denise Woodward . The LA will help faculty organize coursework, explain biology concepts to students, and hold office hours and/or review sessions. Preference will be given to full-time registered Penn State students who have successfully completed the course for which they will be assisting (BIOL114).
