Job summary

The Walsh Group seeks a Learning and Talent Coordinator in Chicago, IL to manage learning needs and lead development initiatives across projects. You will use Workday dashboards and collaborate with Career Development leadership to drive talent strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or 3 years of construction operations experience.
  • General familiarity with Workday Learning and Talent functions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP.
  • Strong communication skills.

  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Up to 50% Travel is required.
  • Salary Range: $108,000 - $161,000/Yr.

  • Assess and manage employee Learning needs.
  • Lead or facilitate Learning events on the project or program level; assist in tracking and logging learnings.
  • Support the overall Learning environment within a project or program.
  • Use Workday to analyze, share dashboards and standard Learning reports with leadership.
  • Provide insights to Career Development leadership around teams and employees.
  • Assess and support completion of Employee Reviews within projects or programs.
  • Guide creation of Employee Goals and track progress through the year.
  • Utilize Skill-Gap information to help Learning needs assessments.
  • Assist corporate Talent leadership with Talent Review and Calibrations sessions for local leadership.
  • Champion Workday Learning and Talent by being the point of contact for navigation questions and data integrity.
  • Help corporate talent analysts monitor workforce metrics like turnover, retention, internal mobility, time-to-fill, cost-per-hire.
  • Partner with Career Development, HR leaders, and Business Partners to translate analytics into strategies.
  • Support engagement initiatives initiated by Career Development.

  • Partner with Career Development, HR leaders, and Business Partners to translate analytics into actionable strategies for talent attraction and retention.

  • Support engagement initiatives which are initiated by Career Development.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources related field or 3 Years of Operational Construction experience.
