Salary Range: $22.50 - $36.00

Job Summary

The Learning and Development Specialist coordinates, develops, and delivers training programs for Sanford employees, students, and community members. Responsibilities include customizing curricula, creating training materials, and utilizing adult learning principles to ensure effective learning experiences. The role involves maintaining existing training programs, performing quality checks, and developing new courses, including online modules and webinars. The specialist collaborates with remote subject matter experts and manages training schedules, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Strong communication, project management, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; field of study preferred based on department focus. Consideration for six years of equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in healthcare education/training, preferably with automated software applications.
  • Project management experience and knowledge of adult learning principles are preferred.
  • Required department-specific competencies and certifications based on program needs.
