Job summary

Rincon Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to design and develop company-wide blended learning programs for highly technical audiences. The role focuses on curricula for project management, coaching, consulting, and supervisory leadership, using ADDIE and multiple delivery modalities.

You will own the instructional design process, collaborate with SMEs and HR, and manage LMS-related tasks while contributing to innovative learning strategies and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Experience creating learning pathways or curriculum programs spanning multiple modalities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
  • 3+ years designing live in-person, live virtual, and blended learning solutions.
  • Designing professional skills curricula (PM, leadership, coaching, consulting, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of training theories, methodologies and techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of L&D industry trends and market insights.
  • Strong project-management skills with ability to handle multiple curricula
  • Experience implementing training programs and measurement reports.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to organize ideas into implementable formats.
  • Proficient with LMS and related admin tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an instructional designer, collaborating with L&D Manager, HR, and SMEs to develop high-priority curricula.
  • Own the instructional design process with LMS support as needed.
  • Design and develop curricula: PM, Coaching, Consulting, Supervisory/Leadership.
  • Assess, plan, and design content using ADDIE or similar methodologies for various delivery modes.
  • Create eLearning content with tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Vyond, Camtasia.
  • Transform existing content into cohesive, learner-centered curricula aligned to outcomes.
  • Design, conduct, and evaluate post-instruction outcomes using Kirkpatrick levels.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to align with Rincon best practices.
  • Maintain accuracy of information in the LMS, with minimal backup.
  • Additional assignments to support training initiatives.

About The Role

Rincon Consultants, Inc. is seeking aLearning & Development Specialistto design and develop company-wide blended learning programs using objectives-based instructional strategies. We are seeking an experienced instructional designer with a strong background developing professional skills curricula for highly technical audiences, particularly in project management, coaching, consulting, and supervisory and leadership development. The successful candidate will be able to design integrated learning experiences that combine virtual instructor-led training, self-directed learning,andpractical application. This individual must be adaptable, collaborative, innovative, and comfortable independently leading curriculum-development projects from analysis through implementation.

We enjoy coming together in person to collaborate, connect with teammates, and partner with clients, and may prioritize candidates who live within 50 miles of a Rincon office. What You\'ll Do

Act as aninstructional designer,workingclosely with the Learning and DevelopmentManager, HRteam, and Rincon Consultant subject matter experts to develop high-priority curricula.

Owntheinstructionaldesign processwith occasional LMS support.

Designanddevelophighprioritycurricula:ProjectManagement,Coaching,Consulting,Supervisory/Leadership

Assess, plan, and design content, using the ADDIE or similarmethodology, including learningobjectives, participant guides, job aids, PowerPoint decks, interactive activities, and more for synchronous, asynchronous, and blended delivery.

Create eLearning content using a variety of authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Vyond, and Camtasia.

Evaluate and transform existing presentations, reference materials, SME knowledge, and other source content into cohesive, learner-centered curricula aligned with defined business and performance outcomes.

Design, conduct, and evaluate post instruction outcomes using various levels of current learning evaluation methods, in adherencewithKirkpatrick’s levels of evaluation.

Work in close coordination with internal departments to review,validate, and create training materials that is in line with Rincon Consultants best practices for the identified curricula.

Support the team inmaintainingaccurateinformation in our Learning Management System (LMS), (minimal, rolewouldbebackup toprimary).

  • Additionalassignments as needed to support training-related initiatives.
What You\'ll Bring

Experience creating learning pathways or curriculum programs that span multiple learning modalities and support skill development over time.

Bachelor’s degree in adult learning, communications, organizational development, human resources, or a similar field.

3+years of experience designing and developing live in-person, live virtual, and blended learning solutions.

Demonstrated experience designing and developing professional skills curricula, including areas such as project management, leadership development, coaching, consulting skills, communication, customer service, or similar business-focused training programs.

Advanced knowledge and detailed understanding of training theories, methodologies, and techniques.

Proficient in Learning & Development industry trends, using market analysis to gainadditionalinsights to “innovation” within our learning strategies.

Strong project-management skills, including the ability to scope work,establishdevelopment plans, manage reviews and dependencies, negotiate priorities, and deliver multiple curriculum-development projects within established deadlines.

Experience implementing training programs and knowledge of successful measurementresultreports.

Strong interpersonal skills and high comfort level working in collaborative environments with diverse backgroundsas well aspresentingtoseniorleadersin thefirm.

Outstanding communication and relationship skills with abilities tofacilitateconversations and consultations with leaders and SMEs.

Organized, an eye for detail, and can put ideas into a tangible form with minimal supervision.

Able to take command of project management tasks (inclusive of but not limited to prioritization, negotiation, multi-tasking) to drive projects to completion within deadlines.

Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Highly computer literate and proficient in using Microsoft Suite and other technologies.

Creative thinkers with a positive attitude who enjoy cultivating results and empowering people.

Ability to produce recent work samples upon request.

Preferred Experience

Experience providing training within the AEC or consulting industry.

Experience communicating and training through Microsoft Teams.

Experience in SCORM compliant eLearning solutions including development, design, graphic design, audio/visual production, and using eLearning applications such as Storyline, Rise, Vyond, Camtasia, and other eLearning design tools.

Strong experience with Microsoft 360 apps including Forms, Teams, SharePoint, etc.

Learning & Development certifications through ATD such as CPTD, APTD, or certifications through SHRM.

Investing in You

The base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 - $95,000, plus a generous benefits program. Salary ranges are based on the market median of similar jobs, according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Base pay isdeterminedbased on internal equity and a candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
