Job summary

Georgia-Pacific, a leader in corrugated box manufacturing, is seeking a site-based Learning & Development Leader to implement and manage hourly training initiatives. You will oversee synergized operating learning systems across facilities and collaborate with the global L&D team to maintain established programs.

You will develop content for SOPs, OPLs, and reference materials, and partner with site leadership to drive training, retention, and growth for critical roles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Learning and Development in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience building and facilitating L&D programs across multiple facilities.
• Experience developing operational content to support learners across sites.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office to enable training material production.

Learning and Development Leader - Corrugated

Georgia Pacific’s Corrugated business is looking for a site-based Learning & Development (L&D) Leader to lead the implementation and management of hourly training initiatives. The L&D Leader is responsible for oversight of the implementation and distribution of synergized operating learning and development systems throughout our facilities. The L&D Leader will also collaborate with capabilities across the division and the global learning and development team to ensure continuity in the established learning and development programs for learners.

What You Will Do

• Implement and manage our hourly operator technical training qualifications.
• Develop and updated technical training content including SOPs, OPLs, and other reference material.
• Manage the development of our site-based hourly workforce.
• Leverage knowledge base and established training and development processes to accelerate L&D programs within a corrugated facility.
• Partner with site leadership to identify gaps, challenges and opportunities for training and development. Prioritize and focus efforts on targeted opportunities that create the most value and impact in improving retention, growth, and development for key and critical positions.
• Ensure training and development content and curriculum align with Principle Based Management™ in all aspects of program development and deployment.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in an operational business partner/support role.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to enable the production and implementation of learning materials into a learning system.
