Apple Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Learning Analytics Data Scientist to enrich data with business context and deliver insights that improve training and knowledge resources across the organization.

You will write SQL, build Tableau dashboards, and partner with IS&T’s Employee Productivity & Support Data Science team to measure program effectiveness and drive data-informed decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with learning and development data.
• 3+ years writing SQL to analyze large, multi-source data.
• 3+ years building dashboards in Tableau/Looker or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
• 3+ years delivering analytical work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in data analytics, or Master’s with 2+ years.

Responsibilities

• Partner with knowledge and training leaders to translate needs into data problems and deliver recommendations grounded in evidence.
• Extract, clean, transform, and validate data from multiple learning and content systems.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau, and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on training effectiveness and content performance.
• Use AI to accelerate insight generation while ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Develop and maintain reproducible analytical workflows with clean SQL and GitHub.
• Monitor data quality and coordinate with data engineering to resolve issues.
