Learning Administrator

Human Resources Full Time Regular US

3 days ago Requisition ID: 1144

Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $120,000.00 Annually

From pioneering many of the first U.S. rocket engines to propelling the fastest human-made object ever built, Rocketdyne has always been at the forefront of space technology.

The space economy is expanding rapidly — and Rocketdyne is uniquely positioned to deliver proven solutions in propulsion, space electronics, and power systems. Come help us move space forward!

We are looking for a detail-oriented Learning Administrator to join us as we stand up a best-in-class HR function to support Rocketdyne’s dynamic growth. This is an operator and builder role, ideal for a systems-thinker who embraces ambiguity as an opportunity as opposed to an obstacle.

The Learning Administrator is the primary owner and subject-matter-expert for Rocketdyne’s Learning Management System. This role is responsible for seamless learner experience through system administration, data analysis, content management, and continuous process improvement. Working with key stakeholders across functions, this role combines hands-on LMS administration with strategic oversight of platform optimization, governance, integrations, reporting, vendor management, and roadmap development.

More specifically, this role will:

  • Serve as the system owner for the ADP Learning Management System (LMS), overseeing platform optimization, governance, user experience, system support, and adoption.
  • Import, organize, and maintain learning content and course catalogs; align resources with competency frameworks and learning paths; and create targeted learning libraries.
  • Partner with learning vendors and internal stakeholders to evaluate, implement, and optimize system enhancements, integrations, and new learning solutions.
  • Provide governance and oversight for learning administration across functional business areas, guiding embedded administrators to ensure consistent practices and compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Execute annual training requirements, working with subject matter experts to design or procure content.
  • Maintain accurate learner records, certifications, and training completion data to support regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, business stakeholders, and HR partners to curate and deploy learning content and address reporting needs.
  • Identify and implement enhancements that strengthen learner engagement and operational effectiveness.
  • Analyze learning data and develop actionable insights and reports that support workforce development, compliance, and business objectives.
  • Provide timely, effective support to end users, resolving learning-related inquiries and system issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Instructional Design, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five years of relevant experience, with a strong emphais on LMS administration and learning and development operations.
  • Experience managing third-party learning content providers and LMS-based learning libraries, including content integration, governance, catalog optimization, and learner engagement.
  • Experience using learning technologies and tools, such as Adobe Captivate or Scribe.
  • Understanding of instructional design principles and e-learning standards, including SCORM, AICC, and xAPI.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy, reliable system functionality, and compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and provide timely support across stakeholder groups.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a structured approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience within A&D industry
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS
