Job summary

Comcast Spectacor is seeking a Learn-to-Skate Program Operator to oversee day-to-day operations, growth, registration, and staffing. You will teach skating sessions following the official curriculum in a friendly, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Create new business including figure skating clubs, holiday shows, camps, clinics, competitions
• Teach the U.S. Figure Skating curriculum to students in a fun and friendly manner
• Provide great customer service and maximize the student experience
• Manage part-time staff and ensure facility policies are met
• Collaborate with ice rink manager on operating budgets and goals
• Promote and represent the facility in a positive manner
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance
• Work nights and weekends with variable schedules/overtime as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Summary

Responsible for operation of learn to skate program; including program growth, registration, staffing and teaching. Instructs skating to students and classes. Works on straight forward tasks using established procedures.

Core Responsibilities

• Creates new business including figure skating club, holiday shows, camps, clinics, competitions.
• Teach the U.S. Figure Skating curriculum to students and assigned classes in a fun and friendly manner.
• Provide great customer service and maximize the experience for the students.
• Manages part-time staff, ensuring that facility's policies and procedures are being met.
• Works closely with ice rink manager developing operating budgets and goals.
• Promotes and represents facility in a positive manner at all times.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Compensation

New Jersey Pay Range: $0.01 - $80,000.00 Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
