Job summary

Jetvia is seeking an Aircraft Technician to perform safe, efficient maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, servicing and repairs in line with manufacturer manuals, FAA data, and Jetvia procedures.

The role requires relocation or commuting to El Paso, TX or Titusville, FL, with travel to assigned locations and availability for nights, weekends and holidays. A&P certificate and high school diploma are essential, along with Learjet/ Pratt & Whitney engines experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanic’s Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings required.
• Experience with Learjet series Airframe and Pratt Whitney 305A Engines preferred.
• Meet 14 CFR Part 65.83 with 6+ years of experience or more.
• Strong troubleshooting and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tasks are completed per manufacturer manuals and FAA data.
• Adhere to FARs and company policies including GPM and maintenance program.
• Interpret aircraft manuals and electrical drawings.
• Move aircraft in hangar and on ramp; operate tow-tractor.
• Maintain a neat, safe work area at all times.
• Participate in weekly maintenance progress meetings with the Director of Maintenance.

Experience with Learjet 60/airframe

Ability to lift 75 lbs
