YMCA of Central New York is seeking a LEAPS Site Coordinator at the Van Duyn School location. Under the Senior Program Director, you will plan and lead after-school enrichment for approximately children, ensuring safety and alignment with YMCA policies and NYS guidelines.
You will supervise staff, coordinate curricula, liaise with families, and oversee program records, payroll, and supplies. The role requires strong organizational skills and commitment to inclusive programming.

This position supports the mission and work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization. Under the direction of the Senior Program Director, the NYS Learning and Enrichment After-school Program Supports (LEAPS) Site Coordinator will plan, organize, and lead a comprehensive enrichment program for approximately children. The Site Coordinator assures the well-being for each participant in line with YMCA of the USA guidelines and association policies in accordance with their training.
Associate’s degree in child development,
elementary education, PE, or related field
AND
Two years direct experience working with children under the age of 13 years, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity
OR
New York State Children’s Program Administrator
Credential
Or
School Age Child Care Credential
AND
Two years direct experience working with children under the age of 13 years, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity
OR
Two years of college with 18 credits in the above listed areas of concentration
AND
Two years direct experience working with children under the age of 13 years including at least one year in a supervisory capacity
In addition to the above, preferred knowledge of and experience working with diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical abilities).
