The Leap Business Unit Leader will perform daily operations to ensure adherence and execution to all Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost Policies. In this role, you will own/influence budgets and operating plans and work with cross functional teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Manage business unit in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety
  • Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards
  • Team management of salaried employees
  • Provide professional leadership
  • Influence policy and ensure delivery within area of responsibility, linking with other parts of the organization
  • Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services
  • Lead others to find creative solutions within complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles
  • Employ sophisticated operational/product management, manufacturing or engineering techniques
  • Interact with adjacent functions needed to solve issues
  • Present business or technical discipline solutions to leaders
  • Communicate complex messages and negotiate mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view
  • Influence peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment)
  • Minimum of 5 additional years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
