Job summary

Twin City Fan Companies, Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Production Leader to help drive daily operations on the shop floor in South Dakota. The role emphasizes training, quality checks, lean improvements, and enforcing safety standards.

The successful candidate will support 5S initiatives, lead small teams, and ensure timely, safe production of scheduled deliverables, while maintaining strong housekeeping and compliance with ISO-9000.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents (policies, procedures, work instructions).
• Ability to lead and direct the work of others.
• Team-oriented with good accountability and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with department training plan, progress, and cross training to ensure 100% coverage.
• Ensure quality checks and paperwork are complete before product leaves the department.
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
• Assist with 5S improvements, Visual Factory improvements, and changeover/setup reductions.
• Maintain clean working environment and good housekeeping.
• Maintain Continuous Improvement mindset within production teams.
• Communicate daily with Value Stream Leaders about relevant information.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with department requirements and schedules.
