Job summary

Tenneco in Frankfort, Indiana is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead Lean and CI initiatives across the plant within the P3 Operating System. You will develop roadmaps, run Kaizen events, coordinate annual productivity plans and drive savings with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have a engineering degree or 5+ years of related experience, a strong manufacturing background, and proven leadership abilities to train and develop others in a Lean environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering preferred or 5+ years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong manufacturing background with aptitude for training and leadership.
• Experience in Lean environments or Lean implementation is a significant plus.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team with little guidance.

Responsibilities

• Define, drive and execute plant CI strategy and roadmap for P3 Operating System implementation.
• Coordinate and lead Lean implementation within the plant; manage technical and managerial aspects.
• Promote Lean tools and techniques and facilitate Lean events/workshops.
• Coordinate the yearly Plant Productivity Improvement plan and set targets with management.
