Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Co. seeks a strategic Continuous Improvement Manager to lead process optimization across a data-center chillers plant. You will drive Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen programs, implement standard work, and advocate a culture of continuous improvement.

Role reports to top-level leadership and spans manufacturing and supply chain. You will mentor teams, develop a plant-wide CI roadmap, and use tools like VSM, TAKT, and daily management to deliver 98%+ OTD while reducing waste and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years in continuous improvement or operational excellence in manufacturing.
• Proven Lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black belt preferred), Kaizen experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production systems.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems and data analytics tools.
• Leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of Lean Management System and Daily Management practices.
• Develop a plant-wide continuous improvement roadmap for efficiency.
• Create and maintain Value Stream Maps and transformation plans.
• Ensure 98%+ on-time delivery through TAKT and capacity planning.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen initiatives to reduce variability and waste.
• Implement standard work, automation opportunities, and best practices.
• Mentor employees and lead cross-functional problem-solving sessions.
• Track KPI data via Daily Management System and SPC/ RCA analyses.
