Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical or Mechatronic) with ≥3 years technical experience.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical drawings; pneumatic/hydraulic plans.
• Basic understanding of programming/coding.
• Strong teamwork, initiative, and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and problem solving.
• Adherence to established standards/policies.
• Coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Self-starting, results oriented, flexible, team player.
• Ability to teach and work with workshop personnel.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and procure tools used in milling machines.
• Perform metrology of production parts.
• Develop and maintain lean strategies for processes, layouts, material flow, and workforce optimization.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and quality plans (PFMEA, PQIs, etc).
• Coordinate engineering changes, new releases, and PPAP prep.
• Lead projects to improve cost, quality, delivery, utilization, and safety.
• Adapt equipment to run new product types and variations.
• Investigate and solve manufacturing/machining process problems.
