Job description

Join to apply for the Lean Supply Supervisor - PLS role at Quest Diagnostics.

**Position Details:**

Lean Supply Supervisor - PLS - Dearborn, MI - Monday - Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM

Reporting to the Regional Material Manager, this role implements lean supply management principles within the Regional Laboratory network, including materials/supplies movement and replenishment to point of use in the laboratory. Manages cycle count and daily replenishment routines, interacting with laboratory staff to ensure material availability.

Pay Range: $58,656+ per year. Salary offers depend on skills, experience, education, certifications, and market factors. Successful candidates may be eligible for an annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement standard business processes for managing material flow across the laboratory, including receiving, shipping, warehousing, and replenishment planning.
  • Participate in key projects supporting the regional supply chain strategy.
  • Lead internal teams in continuous improvement of supply replenishment processes focused on cost and cycle time reduction.
Qualifications:
  • BS/BA in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or lean certification preferred.
  • 4-6 years of laboratory or manufacturing, warehouse inventory, or supply management experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • APICS, CPIM certification desired.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of staff and management.
  • Strong planning, organizing, and project management skills.
  • Proven track record in inventory and supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word, Visio, etc.
  • Regional travel required (~75%).
