Responsibilities

• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the facility.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, process improvement workshops, and root cause analysis.
• Analyze production workflows to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Develop and implement standardized work instructions and best practices.
• Utilize Lean and Six Sigma to eliminate waste and boost efficiency.
• Collect, analyze, and present performance data to leadership.
• Train supervisors and employees on Lean principles and tools.
• Support change management and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, maintenance, and leadership.
• Track project results and sustain measurable improvements.

Position Summary

GNB Global is seeking an experienced Lean Specialist / Six Sigma Black Belt to lead continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations. This individual will partner with leadership and production teams to identify inefficiencies, streamline processes, reduce waste, improve productivity, and drive operational excellence throughout the organization.

Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives throughout the facility.

Facilitate Kaizen events, process improvement workshops, and root cause analysis.

Analyze production workflows and identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Develop and implement standardized work instructions and best practices.

Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.

Collect, analyze, and present operational performance data to leadership.

Train supervisors and employees on Lean principles and continuous improvement tools.

Support change management initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams.

Track project results and ensure measurable improvements are achieved and sustained.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.

Six Sigma Black Belt Certification required (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in steel fabrication, manufacturing, construction products, or heavy industrial environments.

Lean certification and additional continuous improvement credentials are a plus.

Project management experience is highly desirable.
