Job summary

Toyota Boshoku America is seeking an equipment/setup technician to support daily operations at our Jackson, TN facility. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot department machines and jigs, ensuring smooth production flow.

Responsibilities include maintaining 5S standards, applying TPS methods to reduce waste, and conducting safety audits. You will document issues, participate in continuous improvement, and train peers as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience performing machine setup and troubleshooting per TPS standards.
• Knowledge of 5S and safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to predict abnormalities and implement improvements.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines based on Kanban pull and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform daily operation checks and maintain jigs and equipment.
• Ensure 5S housekeeping and safety audits are conducted.
• Maintain records of equipment problems and maintenance activities.
• Apply TPS techniques to standardize processes and reduce waste.
• Provide training to increase technical skills as needed.
