Job summary

Bowmar is seeking a Quality Supervisor in Fort Wayne, IN to oversee daily QA activities, drive Continuous Improvement, and lead teams using Toyota Production System principles. The role requires strong coaching, problem‑solving, and data analysis skills in a manufacturing environment.

The position calls for 5+ years of production experience with at least 2 in supervision, plus experience with ISO9001/AS9100 and ERP systems.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of production experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Experience with ISO9001/AS9100 quality management systems preferred.
Experience in manufacturing quality assurance preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise the daily activities of Quality Assurance Auditors and Assemblers.
Coordinate workflow and daily assignments to meet customer requirements and allocate resources.
Lead and support root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone) to resolve quality issues.
Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards in processes and audits.
Drive Lean initiatives to improve First Pass Yield and reduce defects.
Use Made2Manage ERP to ensure real‑time, accurate data entry.
