Flowserve is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to direct about 29 hourly manufacturing professionals at a heavy industrial pump facility in Baton Rouge. You will drive daily production schedules, enforce safety, optimize inventory, and promote lean principles while collaborating across functions to deliver flow control solutions on time.

The role emphasizes 5S/SMED/VSM/FMEA, root-cause problem solving, and leadership in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (relevant technical or engineering degree preferred).
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Lean manufacturing tools (5S, SMED, VSM, FMEA) and continuous improvement knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production scheduling tools.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and direct the day-to-day activities of an hourly manufacturing team across machining and assembly work centers.
• Drive daily tier-board meetings and review safety, quality, productivity, utilization, and scrap metrics.
• Manage production planning and execution across multiple work centers for on-time delivery.
• Implement lean manufacturing tools to reduce setup times and waste.
• Lead root-cause analyses to resolve bottlenecks and quality issues.
