Job summary

Helena Industries (HI) seeks a Production Shift Supervisor to lead production crews and ensure safe, efficient, high‑quality manufacturing operations. You’ll direct daily work, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement while upholding Lean and 5S standards.

You will develop employees, manage resources, and coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to meet production goals and company expectations in a hands‑on leadership role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college coursework in manufacturing/ops preferred.
• Minimum of five years in manufacturing/production environment preferred.
• Experience leading, supervising, or coordinating production employees required.
• Experience overseeing multiple lines/departments preferred.
• Experience with safety training, quality control, planning, inventory, and CI preferred.
• Experience implementing Lean and 5S preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate production crews across all production departments and areas.
• Assign daily production work and staffing to meet schedules.
• Monitor daily activities for safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Lead daily production meetings to communicate priorities and performance.
• Review KPIs such as productivity, labor efficiency, and quality.
• Identify bottlenecks and coordinate with management to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
• Coordinate safety training and maintain records.
• Maintain housekeeping and proper waste handling.
• Ensure batch records and quality documentation are complete.
