Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Willimantic, CT Production Planner/Scheduler to develop balanced production schedules, optimize inventory and implement lean strategies. You will work with operations, supply chain and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and data-driven decisions.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing/planning, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and strong MS Office proficiency with SAP/ERP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Manufacturing, Purchasing and/or Planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Business preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with SAP/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Support Supply Chain manager in master scheduling, forecasting and procurement.
• Perform daily planning, scheduling, and purchasing across multiple value streams.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities to develop a balanced schedule with minimal waste.
• Develop and implement lean strategies to improve cost, inventory and quality.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts and coach teams.
• Maintain manufacturing data systems for budgeting and capacity planning.
