Job summary

Wisenbaker Builder Services, Inc. is seeking a Production Manager in Houston to lead the countertop manufacturing facility.

You will oversee scheduling, workforce management, equipment utilization, quality, productivity, and inventory flow, while driving continuous improvement and a culture of safety. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing, with 3+ years in a leadership role, and a strong Lean mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent manufacturing leadership experience considered.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with at least 3 years in a production leadership role.
• Countertop/stone fabrication or related manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience managing production scheduling, labor planning, and operational performance.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily countertop manufacturing operations to meet production, quality, safety, and delivery goals.
• Execute production schedules balancing labor, equipment, and material availability for efficiency.
• Monitor daily performance and adjust resources to meet changing demands.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement to develop future leaders.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and operating procedures.
• Drive reductions in scrap, waste, and downtime via Lean initiatives.
• Utilize KPIs and data to improve throughput and labor productivity.
