Job summary

Bausch + Lomb in Clearwater, FL, is seeking an Operations Excellence professional to drive Lean initiatives across our manufacturing operations. You will lead process improvements, reduce waste, and improve safety, quality, and throughput, partnering with quality, maintenance, engineering and supply chain teams.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least five years in manufacturing, with strong SPC, problem solving, and Six Sigma experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations improvements to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Identify and implement waste reduction and flow improvements.
• Analyze processes to reduce cycle time and increase capacity.
• Lead 5S, Kaizen, VSM, standard work and visual management projects.
• Facilitate cross-functional Kaizen events with data-driven analysis.
• Establish corrective actions and track key KPIs like OEE and throughput.
