Qualifications

• Mechanical background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe work environment and a workplace that causes no harm to people or the environment.
• Leading subordinates with emphasis on quantity, quality, timeliness, safety, recovery, and delivery performance.
• Developing individuals with training, coaching, and mentoring for the crew.
• Ensure fair task allocation and clear assignments within management guidelines.
• Decide and deploy crewing arrangements for planned/unplanned situations within labor guidelines.
• Lead a maintenance workforce that is diverse, customer-oriented, and flexible.
• Apply root cause analysis and rapid problem solving to maintain or restore production.
• Gather data to support root cause analysis for major exceptions.
• Manage assets cost-effectively with focus on equipment availability and longevity.
• Advance quality, cost control, waste elimination, and lean manufacturing objectives.
• Make fair decisions on performance and discipline with documentation.
• Collaborate to persuade or influence others and build relationships to resolve problems.
