Polamer Precision, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler / Water Spider for full-time on 1st and 2nd shifts in New Britain, CT. The role emphasizes moving and allocating materials, feeding operators, and maintaining a clean, Lean-enabled workflow on the shop floor.

You will read blueprints and routings, monitor the dispatch schedule, perform cycle counts in the ERP/PLEX system, and collaborate with other departments to keep jobs progressing and on-time for customer ship dates.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and understand job routings.
• Working knowledge of the PLEX database system.
• Familiarity with ERP/Inventory control processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workflow processes, allocating raw material to work centers.
• Read blueprints and job routings; use PLEX database.
• Respond to dispatch schedules and communicate with production.
• Review alerts and ensure material receiving dates align with allocations.
• Analyze changes in demand and inform relevant personnel to meet ship dates.
• Perform cycle counts in inventory control; manage locations in PLEX.
• Coordinate with departments to keep jobs moving and meet customer deadlines.
• Support Lean manufacturing by improving flow and efficiency.
