Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY is seeking a Supervisor, Production in Chattanooga Greenwood TN to oversee manufacturing, ensure high quality parts and products, and meet cost targets. The role focuses on scheduling, procedure development, and cross-functional process improvements.

The ideal candidate has Lean manufacturing experience, an associate degree or equivalent, and preferables a Bachelor's degree. Strong leadership and ERP proficiency will drive efficiency and safety in operations.

Qualifications

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent; 5+ years manufacturing leadership experience.
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
Lean manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments and supervise production functions.
Establish work procedures to meet schedules and interpret specifications/drawings.
Participate in cross-functional teams to improve processes, productivity and quality.
Analyze and resolve production problems; assist workers in solving problems.
Inspect products prior to shipping to verify conformance to specs when required.
Organize orders for upcoming dates; estimate hours and order materials/drawings.
Train employees to meet quality and safety standards.
