Job summary

Flex-N-Gate Covington in Covington, Indiana, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee shop-floor operations, ensure safety and efficiency, and drive on-time production. You will supervise shifts, assign tasks, and mentor staff while supporting ISO 14001 and TS16949 compliance.

The role emphasizes hands-on process support, training, and continuous improvement, with daily coordination with the Management Team to hit output targets.

Responsibilities

• Supports facility with continuous improvement processes (5S, Kaizen, Safety Audits)
• Trains, guides and coaches employees to achieve production initiatives
• Assesses training needs and supports employee training and procedures communication
• Mentors and develops personnel; provides feedback and improves skills
• Schedules and assigns personnel to work activities
• Monitors output, processes, labor efficiency and quality indicators
• Drives improvements in key process indicators and meets production schedules
• Establishes working relationships with Materials, Maintenance, Automation and Quality
• Reviews production results daily with the Management Team
• Ensures adequate product for on-time shipment and minimizes overtime
