Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily operations, drive lean practices, and guide teams to achieve production goals with safety and quality at the forefront. You will collaborate with quality, engineering, and supply chain, using data analytics to identify improvements and ensure efficient, compliant manufacturing in a fast-paced environment at the Rochester, NY site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; BA/BS in technical or business field preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with ability to handle complex situations and meet deadlines.
• Lean knowledge with hands-on application of VSM, process mapping, 6S, and Kaizen.
• Data-driven decision making and ability to drive continuous improvement.
• Proven change leadership experience and ability to sustain improvements.
• Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production schedules, quality, and safety standards.
• Lead and mentor manufacturing teams, fostering engagement, continuous improvement, and accountability.
• Execute lean daily management practices to eliminate waste and streamline processes.
• Identify strategic process improvements using data analytics and implement change initiatives.
• Manage labor and resource allocation to ensure optimal staffing and performance.
• Monitor production metrics and KPIs to guide corrective actions.
• Collaborate with quality, engineering, and supply chain to support goals.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed; maintain safe environment.
• Communicate performance updates and insights to senior leadership for decision-making.
