Job summary

Baxter is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Operations leader to direct daily processes in the Penicillin building and drive performance across safety, quality, service, and cost. You will lead staffing, budgets, and KPI achievement, while fostering continuous improvement and regulatory compliance within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years manufacturing/Operations experience incl. 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to lead cross-functionally.
• Knowledge of GMPs, EHS guidelines, SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations in the Penicillin building.
• Manage staffing budgets, costs, methods, and KPIs.
• Lead process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives (6S, visual management).
• Hire, coach, develop, and evaluate direct reports; provide regular feedback.
• Ensure environmental, health, safety SOPs and department requirements are followed.
• Coordinate with other managers and customers to meet quality commitments.
• Develop annual operating budget and long-term planning for the function.
