Job summary

Accelevation LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Excellence Engineer in Miamisburg, OH to drive Lean and TPS-based improvements on the production floor. This onsite role partners with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to raise safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity through structured problem solving.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Lean/Operational Excellence within manufacturing, proven Kaizen/VSM leadership, and experience with Standard Work and Daily Management.

Qualifications

• Five or more years applying Lean/Operational Excellence in manufacturing.
• Experience facilitating Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen events.
• Experience implementing Standard Work and Daily Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Apply Lean TPS principles to eliminate waste and improve performance.
• Lead VSM activities to map current/future states and drive plans.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and structured improvement activities.
• Develop Standard Work, Leader Standard Work, and Visual Management.
• Coach leaders in PDCA, A3 thinking, root-cause analysis.
• Observe on the floor, identify waste, and sustain improvements.
• Analyze data to drive throughput and reduce variation.
• Support capacity planning and cross-functional problem solving.
• Document best practices; support facility expansions and new product introductions.
