Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of engineering or manufacturing experience.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Tableau, Visio, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing methods and process flows for components and final systems.
• Coordinate with design engineering, operations, quality, and suppliers to implement product improvements and resolve issues.
• Create, review, and implement engineering change orders while assessing impacts to BOMs, drawings, and product structures.
• Apply DFx, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement to reduce cost and improve manufacturability and quality.
• Estimate manufacturing costs, establish time standards, and recommend tooling, fixturing, and equipment.
• Develop and evaluate test procedures, build processes, and analyze data to troubleshoot failures.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective action planning for issues in assembly, supplier manufacturing, or test.
• Gather and analyze manufacturing and test data to support data-driven decisions.
