Job summary

Generac is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer II to lead and coach lean initiatives across our manufacturing and distribution operations. You will apply Value Stream Mapping, 5S, standard work, and other lean methods to eliminate waste and drive performance improvements.

You will mentor team members, develop standard work, and collaborate with corporate CI to deploy best practices and strategic initiatives across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3 years of continuous improvement or lean engineering experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead lean initiatives and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach lean initiatives using GMS and lean tools.
• Develop and implement standard work and continuous improvement solutions.
• Mentor facility teams in lean principles and best practices.
• Collaborate with CI team to share standards and best practices.
