Job summary

WEG is seeking a factory optimization professional to lead end-to-end manufacturing and material flow improvements across the facility. You will develop current and future state maps, redesign layouts, and drive capacity planning to support production growth.

Role requires leading lean initiatives, implementing pull systems, and building KPI dashboards to monitor OEE, throughput, and inventory flow. Collaboration with multiple functions will be essential to sustain continuous improvement.

• Analyze end-to-end manufacturing and material flow throughout the facility.
• Develop current-state and future-state manufacturing flow maps.
• Lead facility layout redesign projects supporting production growth.
• Improve internal logistics and material movement efficiency.
• Optimize warehouse-to-production material flow.

Major Responsibilities

Factory Flow Optimization

• Analyze end-to-end manufacturing and material flow throughout the facility.
• Develop current-state and future-state manufacturing flow maps.
• Lead facility layout redesign projects supporting production growth.
• Develop spaghetti diagrams to reduce material travel distance.
• Improve internal logistics and material movement efficiency.
• Optimize warehouse-to-production material flow.

Manufacturing Systems Improvement

• Identify manufacturing bottlenecks and system constraints.
• Perform line balancing and capacity analysis.
• Reduce manufacturing lead time and Work-In-Process (WIP).
• Improve throughput across all manufacturing processes.
• Support implementation of pull systems and flow manufacturing concepts.

Lean Manufacturing

• Lead Value Stream Mapping (Current State / Future State).
• Drive Kaizen events supporting strategic factory improvements.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies.
• Improve visual management and standardized work.
• Support continuous improvement culture throughout the organization.

Factory Layout & Capacity Planning

• Develop long-term manufacturing layout strategies.
• Evaluate equipment relocation opportunities.
• Support capital investment planning.
• Optimize manufacturing footprint utilization.
• Support production expansion and new product introduction.

Data Analysis & Performance Management

• Provide technical leadership on factory optimization initiatives.
