Job summary

EXALTA Group in Bonita Springs, FL is seeking a Lean Manufacturing Engineer to drive operational excellence through Lean principles, process optimization, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory (SQDCI).

Responsibilities include leading Kaizen events, value stream mapping, standard work, 5S, and visual management; analyzing processes to boost throughput and reduce lead time;

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3–7+ years of Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Medicaldevice, life sciences, or other highly regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading measurable Lean improvement projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/MESsystems and data analysis tools preferred.

  • Identifycapacity constraints and implement sustainable process improvements.
  • Partner with Engineering on new product introductions and process transfers.
  • Support production layout optimization and material flow improvements.
  • Develop KPIs andmonitoroperational performance through dashboards and visual management.
  • Train and coach employees and leaders on Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives while maintaining compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and customer requirements.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects supporting strategic operationalobjectives.

Reports To: Director of Operations

Position Summary

The Lean Manufacturing Engineer drives operational excellence through the application of Lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
