Job summary

RTX is seeking a co-op/ internship to support our Rockford, Illinois facility with continuous improvement initiatives. You will help plan and execute CI efforts, analyze KPIs, and drive quality improvements in manufacturing processes.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a STEM degree, capable of leading in teams, and have exposure to lean manufacturing concepts such as PFMEA and value stream mapping. This is an onsite role with extensive hands-on learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active pursuit of a Bachelor's or advanced degree through the co-op session.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Support Rockford, IL plant in planning, coordinating, and executing CI initiatives.
• Recommend and implement process changes to improve cost, efficiency, and quality.
• Analyze key process indicators to align with objectives.
• Develop and manage quality programs to assist in reengineering processes.
• Facilitate CI tools and events, including PFMEA and root cause solving.
